You may have her a lot longer than you think. Dixie stayed with me 3 years and there are others who have had pos cats a lot longer than that. For the first time ever I had luck with this, young adult injured feral kitty who tested FIV+ a light FELV+. 6 wks later he is FELV negative confirmed by IFA!
