I am curious: What are you planning to do with this binary?

Are you sure that the default compiler on your build system

This is not the name of an operating system, the option

There are 7 billion people on the planet, mistakes are *bound* to happen
often. Given that it's different people making this mistake (not a single person
repeating it over and over again), I doubt expressing your (understandable)
anger will have any useful effect - other than making readers of this ML,

Let's say the video dimensions are W x H.

I assume your watermark is correctly sized and smaller than W/10 x H/10.
If not, add a scale filter before the pad in the command below.

Command would be

ffmpeg -i video.mp4 -loop 1 -i image -filter_complex
"[1]pad=W/10:H/10:(ow-iw)/2:(oh-ih)/2:color=black@0,tile=10x10,trim=end_frame=1[wm];[0][wm]overlay"

This never helps and the tone makes the wider community seem angry and mental.
Anyway, that user will never read this since they were manually unsubscribed
before you replied.

There will always be users who don't read instructions and will do this due to
laziness, ignorance, language barrier, who knows... Yes, it is annoying, but
the mailing list automatically moves most of these requests into the moderation

[FFmpeg-user] tiled overlay filter?

2018-03-13 Thread Bryan Huh
Hi,

I cannot figure out how to make ffmpeg overlay an image on a video in a
tiled fashion. Is it possible to do?

Suppose I have 1 image, and 1 video. I want to watermark the video with the
image, but multiple times in a regular tiled pattern. Say perhaps, I want
10 rows and 10 columns of the image, spaced evenly throughout the video. I
do not want to do this explicitly, listing out 100 different filter rules..

I was exploring the -tile filter for this, but the first obstacle I hit is
that the -tile filter seems to consume a frame per tile. I have no way of
saying I want to use the same static image for every tile.

Don't know if I should keep exploring ffmpeg's options or if I should just
try to create a tiled image before feeding it to ffmpeg.

Thanks!

[FFmpeg-user] distorted video during ffmpeg h264 video with audio recording

2018-03-13 Thread Good Developer
Hello friends,

I am continuously recording a video with audio from an ip camera using
ffmpeg.
I am getting a distorted video when I get in to the picture. If the
background is still, the video looks normal, but as soon as I step in to
the picture, I see myself only being distorted while the background stays
intact. If anyone went through this issue, I would really appreciate your
help. Here is a command that I am using:

ffmpeg -i rtsp://admin:admin@192.168.1.9/mpeg4 -map 0 -c:v libx264

-c:a aac -pix_fmt yuv420p -f segment -segment_time 60 -segment_wrap 10
-reset_timestamps 1 %d.mp4
