Ah, sorry, I missed that.
Do Powerbooks not take PCMCIA cards? I have an ancient IBM/Futuredomain

Please note that the Filmscanners list has today moved server. This should
not affect you unduly, as an existing member - list mail should still be
sent to [EMAIL PROTECTED] However there are some important
changes.
In summary:-
- you may need to adjust your mail client if you use rules to sort

Yes, but...

I've adjusted my rules accordingly, no problem. However, nearly all messages
are coming in 'on behalf of' Tony Sleep. As a result, the 'From' column in
my email client reads Tony Sleep though the message may be coming from

I agree the plug-in seems the way to go, assuming the stand-alone software
has the same feature set. After working a few times with the demo,
though.,
I question somewhat the wisdom of buying it at all. It works after a
fashion, but not on all material and the results are here and there. Also,

images and ..., only problem is the completed image
is around 170MB and when I try to print it in PS6, it
crashes me out every time. ...
Any remedy would be dependent on your OS :o)

Not totally true. The firewire/scsi adapter will work with Win XP as well as
with Mac platform. I guess you could argue the scsi adapter is there with
this method.

We (our company) has a rather expensive (over $10,000 used) film scanner. It
does a pretty good job, but there is what I call flare (lines between high
contrast areas are fuzzy, is this bloom?). Anyway, it usually makes
relatively good images. I talked to some people at signature color. There

Downloading the Spectrocam program update 1.6.2 and trashing Adobe Gamma as well as

I now have a calibrated monitor for the first time. A scary thought.
Color me happy.
Happy holidays to all.
