Thanks
Jacki,
I think what you want is what jazz musicians call a fall-off. There
are symbols for that in the Jazz font and in Bill Duncan's new
articulations font. Short of that, you can use a downward glissando
symbol at an angle around 45° extending about a quarter of an inch
after the note
Hi, Everyone - I'm doing a vocal arrangement in Finale 2005b Mac, and
I'm wondering what the proper symbol would be for a "slide" down in
the vocals - a slight drop in pitch but not really notes...?
Thanks for any tips!

I would just be happy if it WORKED on the Mac version! I'm still in

That iKeys works under Rosetta is an independent issue from whether a

I have not tried to run any version of Finale under Rosetta earl

I've been thinking about getting FinMac2007, and I have a possibility at

Thanks (merci) Jonathan, Andrew, and David.I will try again to clean this duplexer, and maybe see if the choice of input tray makes a difference. Push comes to shove, I will have to run the odd pages, put them back in the tray correctly and run the even ones. That may turn out to be less of a pai
I never got off of iKey version 1.0.7, since version 2.x was so roundly

latest version of iKey?
BTW: I've been able to use iKey 1.0.7 under Rosetta on an Intel MacMini.
It works because it is a stand-alone program. So I cou

Perhaps add-on duplexers are not, but a lot of current HP models come
with duplexing built in.
It might be cheaper to get a new printer than to try to keep an older
one with a failing duplexer run

I remember some discussion a while ago about cleaning and maintenance for the HP 5000 printer duplexer - a maintenance kit or some such - and what to use as a solvent. Don't know how to search the list. Anybody remember, or can point me in the right direction? Duplexer jams every page, and a sea

Hi Matthew,
Two things quickly come to mind that you may or may not have already
checked:
- if these are staff exps, are they set to show only in your score and not
your parts?
- have you restarted your computer and/or Finale in a while?
Hope this helps.

It's nice to know that my suspicions were correct and confirmed. Glad

Has anyone had any problems with disappearing text expressions in
extracted parts?
I have extracted some horn parts and if I extract a further part from
it, or do a Data Check, most (but not all) of the expressions will
totally disappear.
