I'm engraving an atonal music score and It's hard to give a page price to my
publisher.
So do you know a way to count all entries in a file :
-number of notes
-expressions
-articulations
-lyrics
-text
-all special tools modifications
-music spacing adjustements
...?
Thanks for your responses.

How about Plugins | Miscellaneous | Count Items? g
That will count most of the things in your list, but not

Others have given you the plugin info on counting items.
In my experience doing new music, the only way to go is hourly. I have
done by page, by item, and by
just a followup--
Before removing and reinstalling Finale, I removed each item one by
one from he Components folder-
the problem was with the Ivory component--
Synthogy (BTW--EXCELLENT tech support!) advised me to download the
update-- IvoryAU-Update-1_64_00-b3.dmg--I had version-v1.63.12

Then your problem wasn't the same as the infamous HAL crash :-)
Many of MOTU PCI-424 and M-Audio FW I/O users have been experience
Finale 2008+ crash on splash, which log shows the crash at hardware
abstract layer
Hi Hiro--

I started this thread and the only way I was able to get finale 2008
back was to open the extensions folder in the system folder and
remove the MOTU audio driver. of course I now have to re-install the
driver. (you can't just drag it back into the folder like we did back
in the day).

Got it. This is a different crash from the infamous one. It is
crashing within Finale threads, and it doesn't suggest AU related to my
limited eyes. You did a good job going after AU to remedy your problem :-)
