Got it. This is a different crash from the infamous one. It is crashing within Finale threads, and it doesn't suggest AU related to my limited eyes. You did a good job going after AU to remedy your problem :-) By the way, it is possible your crash is caused by AU plug-in copy protection. In such case, fix might be difficult. I was disappointed that 2008a patch didn't fix CA mono stream bug, which should be fairly easy to fix from what I was explained by a CA engineer.
