Nick Carter sent me the latest version of the ChordSym font, and the characters
in question now appear in editing slots that are accessible in Finale 2012.
The FAN files have been adjusted and the symbols are working correctly. I will

Hi all,
I just installed Finale on my netbook so I could use the Garritan player in a
live performance situation (keyboard used as a cimbalom, since in a year of
searching I couldn't find a cimbalom player willing to come to Vermont for the

My ignorance may be unique for this fine list, but I have to admit to it.
I gratefully downloaded this plug-in. Read and followed the instructions on
installing it. And ran into a problem which to me is pure voodoo.
From the Program options I found the location of the Plug-ins folder.

Hello!
A new plug-in is now available for download from the Finale Tips site.
It's called "JW Instrument Change" and works only with Finale 2012 and
later versions.
The plug-in maintains text instructions (as text expressions) at Finale

In order to scroll one bar at a time on Mac OS Lion, you can install Smart

recommend it: using the default settings for right/left scrolling you can
advance or go back one measure at a time using the keyboard.
