Indeed this is a strange thing. I had long conversations with MM support staff on this - even going so far as to use screen sharing so that they could work on my computer with my files. It was never fully resolved until the latest update. Please watch out for this, and if it happens often,

In the User Manual Encyclopedia section (Fin 2011) or Index (some newer versions), look for To move expressions assigned to score lists. Actually, in the FinMac user manual, the index has staff lists instead of score lists, but the page itself has score lists. Looks like the key is the same on
