Can Finale do this?
I set a system with two staves: staff one contains a melody while staff two
shows the same melody but shifted by one measure to the right, thus creating a
canon.
Measure one on staff two will be hidden as it represents a number zero measure;

for show, that's great, but playback won't work properly.

Can you put only the left-hand's low notes (grace notes, A2 and E2
notes) in the bass clef? The treble clef always insists on moving
before (not just after) the grace notes.

I often enter grace notes as real notes to avoid Finale's graceless spacing
