one to adjust a note and thirty instruments load. Click the other and 6
load. Who could this genius be and how do they earn a living at it? --

Here's a good example where the pdf manual proves worthless.
2 scores open - 1 score a piano reduction--- the other full orchestra.

Does it not only load if you playback? I've just switched between
Garritan and non-Garritan files with no problems at all.
If checking involves playback, uncheck the "play Finale through native
instruments" under the midi menu.

which was changed in 2006b, I believe. Now the instruments are only
supposed to load when you do playback.

It doesn't matter what settings I use in the piano score (GPO on,
softsynth, quicktime, or external periperhals), if I play that score
and switch back to full score, all of the GPO channels reload when I
play it.
I don't think this is a problem with the manual,
