That did it! Thanks so much Richard. A final question for the list. This just started happening and is happening more consistently: When I stop the playback controls, the last note or notes sounded at the point of stopping playback continue unabated even after shutting down Finale. The drone of

Dear Finale List: I have a piece that includes violin and cello, each on its own midi channel. For the first part of the piece the strings are playing with the bow. At some point I'd like them to play pizzicato and then later back to arco. Can I send a midi patch that will change the sound
