Just a suggestion Mike, but has Finale 2014 always been a loser for you….or
have you just recently started having problems?
I ask because after downloading a freeware program my version of Finale crashed
on startup and continued to do so until I discovered the cause of the problem.

It is so unfortunate the situation with Finale 2014, installed into a great
iMac and permanently presenting problems: crashes, falls, it turns off. Who
is responsible for all this wasted time? I paid for an expensive program
and I’m not getting the service I’ve supposedly purchased.

Have you tried trashing the preferences? That is probably more helpful
than coming on this list and venting about a waste of time the program
is. Finale 2014 is working great for me

suggestionthe fact is that, for some unknown reason, for some of us
2014 is a disaster and unusable.

I think there is a major problem with running plugins in part view. When I
began running into the strangest weirdnesses, that turned out to be the
culprit.
