i don't think it's a bug, i think it is designed that way intentionally. finale will only recognize EDU values which can be represented with a single note, which explains why a dotted quarter (1536) works, but 2560 doesn't. a single durational values equaling 5/8 doesn't actually exist. of

Hey List, Allen, In trying to set up a measure of 5/8 beamed five eighths to the bar, I tried to create the following time sig: 1 over 2560 EDUs (2560 = 5 eighth notes). But Finale ignores my efforts and instead renders this time sig as 1/2. FinMac2007c. Cheers, - Darcy - [EMAIL
