How do I get rid of this playback bug:
In the Playback window I click PLAY = Finale plays the score
I click STOP = Finale stops playing
On the tool pallete I choose the Speedy Entry or ANY other tool then click the
score = Finale resumes playback!!
No matter how many times I click back and
I can't repeat this effect - unless I hold down the spacebar as though it's
stuck, then I get exactly what you describe.

I have had this happen many, many times. It's directly related to the stuck
key metatool bug that has been long, long-standing. A complete Mac restart is
the one sure way to relieve it, but if you do use metatools frequently, you
will most likely encounter it again. I sure do.
