Jari, if you run ttfdump on the igorec__.ttf from 2002/02/08 then it
shows that it indeed has unicode characters on the platform 0/0 and 3/1
(Windows) encoding. Only the Mac encoding (1/0) is without unicode.
So if it's declared as non-MacSymbolFont for Finale, the unicode
characters appear. If
Barbara, I just looked into the Mac encoding you could try typing
ALT+0201 (on the num key pad). That sould work if it is declared as
MacSymbolFont.

I'm using this font for the accidentals, but I really can't find the
natural between brackets. I'm finding it hard to believe that is isn't
there. Could it be that my font file is corrupt? Where, oh, where is the
bracketed natural?

Next question: how do I create an 8vab-line that spans more than two
pages? Finale keeps snapping the endpoint to a spot where I dont't want
it. I can drag it futher to the right, but the snap point stays where it
is. I can't find anything in the help files.

To my knowledge this has never worked. This issue is one of the main
reasons I can't use linked parts. I use those settings all the time. It's
a universal setting. Once you add it to the beginning/end of a measure in
one part, it will be in all parts and the score.

That is not actually true, Steve. It is perfectly possible to have different
extra space settings in score vs. parts. However, that is not the problem I'm
having.

Is there a plugin that allows you to copy the extra space at beginning/end
settings from one measure of a part to another? Finale's filter doesn't work on
linked parts, and the Mass Copy plugin does not appear to allow this either
(unless I'm missing something)?

in the Finale 2014 / Configuration Files folder. If you remove the
entry, it may be necessary to create a new font annotation file
