I suppose you mean onscreen, which is certainly true. But I haven't noticed any difference in the printouts. The main thing I like about AR7 is the preview pane on the print dialog. I know right away if my file is going to print correctly, without having to waste time and paper figuring it out.

There's some confusion here because you're talking about different things: Finale has always had draggable measure handles with which you can increase or decrease the width of the measure. There is no menu command to turn these handles off or on; they are visible whenever you choose the measure
