Thanks Robert,
That was the method I used to change the tuplet settings. I noticed that
reset button but thought it would just zero-out the dialog settings. That
will help.
It's time for me to upgrade to or buy your latest plugins--will check that
out.
Were smart shapes introduced in v.2?
Don,
It may just be that after several updates and upgrades, at least once a
year, there was about a three-year hiatus between 2.6.3 and the next
version which I believe was called 3.0. So we got to know 2.6.3 really
well. I'm pretty sure I did all my work for graduate school on it. And it

Don,
You should be able to return your tuplets to default settings en-masse by
selecting a range then using Utilities-Change-Tuplets. If you hit the
Reset button at the bottom, it will fill in the default tuplet settings.

Hi Everyone,
Temporarily back in 2011, still on a mac. I'm resurrecting a very old
Finale file, c. '90 or '91. All is going fairly smoothly, but I can't seem

audio file (Error -2)
I can't get Finale to create an audio file of the piece in question. I've

* Renaming the piece
* Quitting and relaunching
I suppose that I could use live playback while
CAn I presume that you have remembered that if ever you use the Hand tool to
move the score around, you can end up with some windows that don't look right.
Usually though you remember that and get everything back to default positions.

Don, I'd also suggest that you try Jari Williamson's JWChange plugin. It
does some tricks with the tuplets (I also used it in an old file to correct
the tuplet positions)

I can't find exact information, but the Apple error code -2 apparently has
something to do with the audio engine.
I've never seen that error message, but I have often failed to create an audio
file. Try saving the audio to a different directory, with a very short name

Hi,
Does anyone know if there's a way to move and/or remove palettes during
playback. Sometimes, I'll kick into playback with a client and the palettes
I've neglected to close out appear – or I simply want to move them about
the screen, as you can do with the mixer and the playback controls.
