I didn't notice any strange spacing in my tests where I hid noteheads by replacing the heads with a blank character, but perhaps you have different criteria than I do. I tried hiding the note head by manually changing it (using the Special Tool), or with Utilities>Change>Noteheads, and by

[Finale] Finale 2014 can't find Mute button for playback

Hello Listers, I'm still struggling on with regaining my Finale skills after the leap from 2000c. :( Today I wanted to playback 8 of 9 staves for proof-listening. I consulted the help which said I could select mute or solo in the Score Manager. But where? Am I missing something obvious? Help

Hi from Oregon! The score manager is activated with a command K for the mac and for each staff line you are able to mute each one or solo each one separately. In Windows it might be Cntrl K? I still haven't figured how to mute or solo all of them at once. I think they were able in earlier
