Hi,
I've just bought a lead to attach my piano keyboard to my computer and am
attempting to use hyperscribe.
Are there optimum settings to make this work efficiently? The quantisation
settings seem to result in either missing notes if set to larger levels or
unusable results if set to smaller.
Many of you suggested to use "Fixed Size" fonts.
But when I use fixed size in lyrics, I always have the problem that the
lyrics are not taken into account for music spacing which makes them
rather unusable (no matter what I select in the Document Options->Music
Spacing->Avoid Collision
Thanks much Henry. I'm looking forward to seeing messages from the Finale
forum again.

You can just increase the size of the reduced lyrics and none other. This is
done in the Lyric Window.
If you are using Times New Roman 12, and get a 75% reduction with a grace note
or cue, you want to embiggen it by 33% or a third. That would be 16 points,
just for that syllable, and it
That's definitely an option, Christoph. Although it might be a bit
confusing if you're dealing with different font sizes in the Lyrics
Window. I was looking for a global option, but that probably doesn't exist.

Ray – and if that was any sort of a motion, I’ll gladly second it.
Henry: while it’s (normally) a thankless job, 1) we’re glad you’re doing it and
2) thanks VERY much!

My thanks, as well. I start having withdrawal pains when I have to go more than
a half day without any Finale postings! Is that bad?
