Hi Jef,
Unfortunately not. Using my default file, with 3.5 point hooks and 6 point
default vertical position, I'd have to change that value to 20(!) points to
avoid the problem. Obviously that's unacceptable as a basic setting.
Other than this one issue, I'm pretty happy with Finale's Enhanced
Just auto annotate will do it? Hard to imagine this will solve the problem,
but I will try it.

Darcy,
I have no answer to your question, but I will mention that I am very happy
with the autopositioning options in my Tuplet Mover plugin. It requires
turning off engraver slurs and other automatic positioning options in
Finale. (Otherwise the plugin does't know where the tuplet actually is.)
Hi Jef,
No, but the same thought just occurred to me. I'll give it a shot.

If you figure this out, and it helps, please let me know how to do this.

In my experience, Auto-Annotate All works perfectly in over 90% of cases, and
even in cases where it's not flawless it's still a huge time-saver. It's one of
the truly great recent Finale features.

On a superficial look, this seems to work, and it was so easy!
Thanks Darcy, for bringing this up and jef for this solution.
Gratefully,

Hi Darcy,
I adjust them manually and am sorely irritated by the necessity to do this in
order to get the triplets to look uniform. Maybe Jari can invent a plugin that
would fix it globally. If there is another way - a better setting for the
triplet brackets that circumvents the problem, I’d

Darcy,
I just re-read your post and realized you were referring to beam angles of
grace notes, which Patterson Beams does not affect.
Here again, a mitigating tool is Mass Copy, which can recognize and copy
grace note beam angles.

Hi all,
As I'm sure many of you have noticed, when triplet brackets are set to avoid
staff and the bracket is positioned very close to the staff, often the tuplet
number no longer lines up correctly with the bracket. When the bracket is below
the staff, the tuplet number often shows up too low
