How do I replicate this?
Note size changer requires selecting an area, not notes.
thx, Jim

I just upgraded to Finale 25 from v2014.5 and have it found it to be very
stable and fast (especially when doing playback of a file). However, be
aware that TGTools, JW Tools, etc will NOT work with this new version until
they come out with a 64-bit version.
I received an email from Tobias
There is a very helpful report. Would you be interested in running a couple
of speed tests, with a file I send you?

True, though you are being "high suggested" to move to Windows 10 and then
there is the whole Windows thing with dealing with viruses and security
issues..
Sometimes it's better to be in a park than to look at it through a window

Thanks. ( I am a Windows guy, so I don't need to own any national parks
before running!)

Why?
Because you cannot move around a playing score like you can in Sibelius.
There is still no lunga for early music.
And my extended set of Garritan sounds is not readily available.
I may move to Steinberg soon.

Here’s a review. Click on Robert Puff’s link at the bottom of this review, too.
One of them ran speed tests, and Finale v. 25 is almost, but not quite, as fast
as 2012 in most things, but faster than 2014.5 in almost everything. But then,
you need Yosemite at least to run Finale v. 25.
Already Windows 10, so no problem there. I am convinced by this review, I
am buying!!!

Hello all,
After a lengthy and confusing correspondence with the helpdesk at
Makemusic, I found out that the engraver tuplets aren't engraver tuplets
at all.
I thought that I messed up my tuplet settings, so I asked the helpdesk
what the default settings are.
There are none, at least no
I don’t understand the question. “Replicate?” And what do you mean by “next to”?
The Resize Tool (looks like a %) should do everything you want, assuming you
click in the correct place (it behaves differently depending on how you aim it.)

WellI don't see shelling out $149 for what seems like almost no new
features and no promises of bug fixes. When it comes down to it I'm
thrilled with the way 2012 works, it does everything I need. I had no luck
with 2014. Maybe if I got a new computer with all the latest mac operating
systems
It would be great if you could download the free trial and tell us if
any of those bugs have been fixed.

I would so much like to be optimistic about the new version--especially that
the bugs from 2014 will be fixed! But all of this discussion makes me feel,
shall we say, somewhat skeptical...
Just for fun, here is a list of bugs I am constantly encountering in 2014.5 for
Mac (with El Capitan).
