Hi again, I'm still struggling with properly installing the full set of tools for the latest arb package (08.07.06prv) in 10.4 on a MacBook Pro. I've done a couple of fresh reinstallations where I remove /sw and start over and remove all arb-related files elsewhere. The problem is that

There is not currently a way within fink to stick with the "point" distribution and get the new version of fink. I am working on a solution to this, but at the moment, a user who did a binary install can run 'fink selfupdate-cvs' which will update correctly to the latest stable fink. (Doi
