Hey all,
I was alerted that postfix-20011226-2.info in unstable has some
"interesting" BuildDepends:
BuildDepends: db3 (>= 3.3.11-4), libxml2, gdbm, gmp, expat, tcltk-dev
Why are libxml2, gmp, expat, tcltk-dev BuildDepends for Postfix?
I haven't been reading email for a few months, so I probab
ARB itself does not work well with lesstif. That was why I put openmotif
in fink. :)
Fortunately, currently the openmotif3 and lesstif versions are
different. Thanks to Fink's shlibs policy, you in theory can install
both openmotif3 and lesstif at the same time. Let me know if you have
proble
I notice that arb requires openmotif3. Is it compatible with lesstif?

2 more corrections : grepping through my dir of log-files
for various error symptoms, I find problems with the fommowing :
fltk-1.1.0rc1-1 : incorrect build
aterm-0.4.2-2 :
gcc -L/sw/lib -o aterm command.o graphics.o grkelot.o main.o menubar.o
misc.o netdisp.o rmemset.o screen.o scrollbar2.o utm
CORRECTION :
There is not necessarily a problem with sagasu-1.0.2-1 :
I had forgotten it depends on gtkmm and gnomemm,
which are c++ and depend in turn on libsgc++ :
so this has to wait until libsigc++ is fixed.
Some additional successes :
jdom-b8-1 neon21-0.21.1-1 xgks-2.6-1
dtdparser-1.15-1

Yes, excuse me, I had that wrong. I was thinking of kdegraphics. Brain
IIRC kdemultimedia isn't even ported yet, as a matter a fact I've been
working on it, and it's not likely going to be ported till 10.2 as it need
sem.h in many places.

Yes, Apple is providing libncurses starting with darwin 6, as they provided
zlib starting with OS X 10.1. In both cases, we'll need to support Fink
packages which have linked to the old versions, but
Hi,
I'm currently working on getting the rosegarden project (midi sequencer
stuff based on KDE 3) running on OS X.
After overcoming a problem with the configure script I've meanwhile
compiled most of the object files (compile ran pretty smooth ) and came
close to the final linking stage.

With the line
SHLIB_LIBS='-lSystem -lcc_dynamic -lncurses -L/sw/lib'
instead of
SHLIB_L

for a series of 'scrollkeeper-install' crashes generated by the
