Title: Scigraphica
I tried to install scigraphica 0.8.0 from the source file. I installed via Fink the required gtk+ libraries and when I launch the ./configure script, everithing seems OK until I have the following message :

Hmm. I haven't installed Codewarrior -- But I did, as I said, install
Apple's Dev Tools, and I also installed tcpflow and perhaps a couple of
other small utilities. Perhaps it was one of them.

hiyer,
i'm looking for a small/simple os x c compiler.
i know there's gcc that comes with apple dev tools and i also know there's
this one here:
http://www.opensource.apple.com//projects/darwin/1.2/projects.html on the
darwin page, but is there a simple, small one? that just compiles c maybe?
My understanding is that Xtools doesn't work on 10.2.

Sorry to bug, but after having great success with fink, I've decided to
use it to try to get XFree going.
Here's what I get:
[io:~] jon% startx -- -rootless

I'm pleased to see the new update of Fink for OS X 10.2 and appreciate
the effort that went into it. However, I really need to say that it is
a disservice to the project to have released it prematurely. Fink
provides tools critical to many people's professional work and a

I write in response to the user who complained about the premature release
of 0.5.0a, with a question for other Fink users to help guide the Fink team
in future decision-making.
Should we have pulled the distribution when we realized that there was
trouble with the upgrade matrix? Or is the note

No.
Or is the note about this on the webpage
enough?
Yes. Users can always just wait for us to fix the upgrade

more cautious and careful in updating, don't you? For example, you

Upgrade fever is hardly the problem here, since OS X 10.2 is a
significant improvment in quality over OS X 10.1 and this is the first
announced, stable release of fink for OS X 10.2.

was very happy at the chance for clean install,
