It seems XMMS isn't finding the plugins at run time. Neither the
General, Input, Output, or Vis plugins are loaded, but they compile and
install with no problems. This happens if I use the package in Fink,
or if I build XMMS myself. Anyone having this problem?

sudo /sw/var/lib/fink/prebound/update-package-prebinding.pl -f
worked. Thanks!! Sorry I didn't see it in the FAQ.

Hi,
I have just installed transcode in order to generate DVD compliant MPEG
streams with it. But the export_mpeg module is missing from my

Hello,
When trying to install any crypto package (lynx-ssl,
svn-ssl, etc.), I see that they all depend on OpenSSL.
OpenSSL is already installed on Panther, so I'm not
sure why do I need to install it from fink too and end
up with two OpenSSL installations. Is there any

Thanks for the info. My problem was that I had copied over my fink

passwd package.

Check and see if /sw/include/gnome-1.0/libgnome/gnome-paper.h is on
your system. If it's not, then you need to reinstall gnome-libs-dev.
If that fails, rebuild it.

1) copy the /System/Library/Keyboards folder of Jaguar into the same
location of Panther - you can download it from
