Ok, I can't find my 10.4 install disks to reinstall Apple's x11 which seems to be the reason pan is giving me problems. What do I need to do to use a fink xwindows package? I'm a little confused at the difference between xfree86 and gnome and all of the window managers out there. Is gnome just

I was running pan fine, but since the last time I have updated to the

The downloadable version is for 10.3 only. You'll have to find it
from your 10.4 install media.

Try 'fink rebuild pan'.

Tried that, after a purge too. I'm going to try to find my 10.4 discs
and reinstall X11.

It's been a while since I ran Pan, and I've done many 'fink

I think the best thing to do would be to rebuild it. Can anyone tell me

Hi,
I tried to install pan-0.14.1-1, but it failed during
configuration because configure couldn't find the right gtk
library. My terminal window has since lost the backlog, but I
fixed the problem by installing gtk+2-dev manually.

The other night Pan failed to start for me. I unfortunately did not
write down the entire error but it ended with a single line Bus
error. The only recent change to my system had been the installation
of Open Office. This required some fiddling (moving and symlinking)
with libdl.dylib and

Why would I get error as this one?

From the pan web site I see that release 0.11.2 (stable) has been released.
Since it has a lot of nice features that are missing in 0.11.1 and I see
that fink package pan 0.11.2-1 is in current-unstable section I was asking
myself when will it appear in cuurent-stable section.
