On Leopard, having installed python, cairo pycairo all through fink
(latest versions as of today), pycairo fails to work in the following
way:
Python 2.5.4 (r254:67916, Apr 17 2009, 15:08:56)
[GCC 4.0.1 (Apple Inc. build 5484)] on darwin
