Hi It didn't work like this for me. After having installed ppl13, a fink update-all still tries to update ppl9, and the crash impeds the update of all other packages. I installed them manually with fink install, but now I still have : caux% fink update-all Information about 11341 packages read

I had the same problem with ppl9 as Emmanuel (which occurred when updating numpy-py27). I did as suggested by David and installed ppl13, which then automatically removes ppl9 in favor of ppl13. Everything went fine after that. Thanks, Jacques > Emmanuel, > Can you use the (newly packag

Emmanuel, Can you use the (newly packaged) ppl13 package (PPL 1.1) instead of ppl9? We've validated that on 10.7 and 10.10, Xcode 4 and 5. Let me know if you encounter any issues. $ fink install ppl13 For pp13, the package library files are installed under /sw/lib/ppl13, not /sw/lib.
