when using the Firebird ODBC driver with unixODBC, the Wide-Functions
like SQLExecDirectW fails.
UnixODBC defines SQLWCHAR as a 2-Byte value. I've transformed my
wchar_t* strings to UCS2 and call SQLExecDirectW() with them.
