Hi, I just try the MySQL DataProvider msi and it install provider and DDEX without machine.config to update, .reg to merge absolutly nothing and it works with VS 2005/2008 Couldn't the same be done to Firebird provider/ddex? mysql gift: the msi source is available freely :)

I never get to the 'Add new connection' screen. I just click the 'New Connection' button and the window disappears and nothing more happens. If I try to add a new connection without having opened up a project it says that the firebird provider has encountered an unexpected error. C.
