Why don't you want to use the pdf xtra/Impressario? It has many features
readily available that seem like you'd have recreate elsewhere. I'm working on
a project now that uses Flash/Director and merges PDFs.

Yes, there's very nice PDF generation in CF 7, and even better PDF
generation in the upcoming CF 8. Now that Adobe owns it, the sky's the
