Re: [Flashcoders] Player question
Yep, I agree with Danny, If you don't want to send EXE's consistently then create a shell 'stub' application that loads content into it... send that once, and then continue to send SWF's. No solution ever solves it though, problems tend to arise from the need to place the new swf into the same folder, and just generally sending more than one file can cause the less competent client confusion. But if not, you could always make an executable shell that loads your content into level0, or send him a copy of your own standalone player (on my machine it's in C:\Program Files\Macromedia\Flash 8\Players) Dan Efergan [EMAIL PROTECTED] ___ Flashcoders@chattyfig.figleaf.com To change your subscription options or search the archive: http://chattyfig.figleaf.com/mailman/listinfo/flashcoders Brought to you by Fig Leaf Software Premier Authorized Adobe Consulting and Training http://www.figleaf.com http://training.figleaf.com

RE: [Flashcoders] Player question
The swfs are associated with the standalon exe, you'll find this in your "players" directory somewhere under your flash install. Solutions? Either publish them (or make your own viewer to load the swf's into) as exe's (publish settings) and send the client them zipped up, set them up on a webpage for the client to view, as a last resort your client can drag and drop swf's into a browser - however unless you are specifically setting noscale and your other stage props this could end up distorting your swf as it will fill the browser window.
