Hi, It's the wmode=transparent on the embed tag. Remove it and you're done. Jose M. Rubio Dept. Hi list, I have the strangest problem on a mini-site with a form: in Firefox, the Input textfields don't allow to type an @ or any other special character (!) and I do NOT have the problem in other browsers on PC or Mac... To see it : http://you-are-here.be/ http://you-are-here.be/ Send To A Friend Does anybody has a fix? Any ideas? FYI: Authored in Flash 8 with ActionScript 2, published to Flash 7. and looking at it with flash plugin 8 on Windows XP Pro with Firefox 1.5. Any help is welcome, coz I'm pulling my hair out, Hans. ___ Flashcoders mailing list Flashcoders@chattyfig.figleaf.com http://chattyfig.figleaf.com/mailman/listinfo/flashcoders ___ Flashcoders mailing list Flashcoders@chattyfig.figleaf.com http://chattyfig.figleaf.com/mailman/listinfo/flashcoders
Re: [Flashcoders] Firefox flash plugin problem?
Flash has had this problem for years. I wish MM would either fix it or do away with the idea. It's definitely cost me time and caused my users headaches. Mike ___ Flashcoders mailing list Flashcoders@chattyfig.figleaf.com http://chattyfig.figleaf.com/mailman/listinfo/flashcoders

Do you have fonts embedded, and if so have you included all the right characters? Mike ___ Flashcoders mailing list Flashcoders@chattyfig.figleaf.com http://chattyfig.figleaf.com/mailman/listinfo/flashcoders

Sorry, no help from me, but I can support the statement that there indeed are problems with Flash player 8 and Firefox! We recently had a Movie with simple gotoAndStop()-commands which worked fine when testing within Flash, but which would cease working when used on the web within a HTML page... With Flash player 7 it worked fine though...
