there's a bit of a developer exodus from iOS to android at the moment

think apples crappy behaviour towards their developers is finally paying
them back - web app devs (like flash guys) who converted to apple because of
the app gold rush are looking at android and seeing the user numbers and the
freedoms and thinking 'screw it - i can develop for android in actionscript
for air and if i like it i can learn java'

suck it apple - i've gone linux

I would like to understand the real reason why Apple is backing off --
as from what I have seen in the past, I can't believe it is for the love
 of developers..

. Corporate pressure? (which has been hinted at).
. Possibility of Federal trade restriction lawsuits?
. possibly a lack of new *significant* apps, as developers began to
 consider other platforms?

Personally, I am not interested in the iPad/iPhone as a target, until
 Steve Jobs apologizes.

I don't believe apple really gives a crap about developers. We can
thank the FTC probe for their sudden change of policy. I still feel
burnt by Mr. Jobs.

mwaa-hahahaha.

I will enjoy every minute of this. I felt like Steve personally kicked
me in the heart when he came out against Flash. His stance has
definitely had an impact on my work as a flash developer. My work load
when from more than I could handle to pretty much nothing at all. I am
bitter to say the least.
