Also, depending how cross-platform you need to be. You can also embed
the Flash Player in .NET application, this works for windows. You can
probably come up with another shell for Mac, if need be.
I've seen some pretty fancy Windows applications where the developers
really wanted to leverage
we used flash ocx control to embed flash into a c# application and it
worked well (but the way to that point was kind of painful).
there are some 3rd party solutions that could work for tighter
connection with local os, zinc for example. i haven't worked with it,
but it seems like a nice tool -
