Hi,

I am creating an application in which I have to take the bitmap of a 
displayObject and upload it on twitter.

I am not able to find a way to do the same. While I was able to select a local 
machine file (using fileReference) and then upload it on twitter, I am not able 
to select the bitmap and upload it on the twitter. (You can very well do it for 
Facebook using Facebook graph API, any solution for twitter?)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi All,

I have to develop an iPhone application that should run on iOS 3.0 or above.

I am planning to use Flex (AIR) to develop that application

I have following questions on this

1. Application has in-app purchasing functionality. Can I achieve this 
functionality using Flex?

2. Application need to pull some assets (images) from net and store it on the 
disk (iPhone storage media). Same data can be retrieved later and displayed in 
the application. Is this functionality possible using Flex?

OK..I figured out. Basically if you are using AS3 GraphAPI, then in the 
browser, the name/id of the swf object needs to flashContent.

Hi I have integrated Facebook (GraphAPI_Web_1_8.swc) with my application and I 
am facing issue with logout functionality.

The application has some Facebook interaction (retrieves users information and 
uploads some). It will be used by multiple users one by one without refreshing/ 
reloading it. So once the current user is finished his/ her use with 
application, he/ she needs to be logged out of Facebook so that next user can 
be presented with the Facebook login page.

To log the user out of Facebook, I have used following code.

Facebook.logout(onLogout);

But it seems that, user is not being logged out of Facebook since for the next 
user as well Facebook is opening the previous user's session and not presenting 
the login screen.

I traced the requests and responses and found that in case of logout, no 
request is getting fired from the browser.

I read on some forums that sharedObject and/ or browser cookies need to be 
cleared in order to end the current Facebook session but I don't know how to do 
it.

Anyone could please guide me on how to log the user out of Facebook?

Hi

I have created a user video recording application which is hosted on red5 
server and it uses oflademo code to capture and save the video.

My query is how much load a red5 server can handle? I mean it is just a tomcat 
server. If it goes live and hundreds of user started using it, what are the 
chances of breakdown? Is red5 server really good for production level use?

What approach would you suggest in this case? Is it a good idea to use Red5 
server in production environment?
What server do other video capturing/ streaming application must be using in 
production environment?

application. I know all the basic things regarding the transaction
like what parameters to pass to PayPal and what to expect from it. But
I not feeling quite comfortable with it as its related to the
payments. Is there any ready made transaction component available
which will take care of the transaction and other issues like
security/ transaction verification etc?

[flexcoders] Deploying Red5 media server on hosting server

Hello All,

I have just completed a application which usages the streaming capabilities of 
Red5 media server.

To test this application I had deployed the red5 WAR file on the local tomcat 
server.

Now since the application is ready, I have to host it on a hosting server. But 
as it requires red5, I need to deploy that as well on the hosting server.

Can anybody please guide me on how to deploy red5 server on the hosting server?
