I think my microphone level may be too high as stated by Eric. Strangely no matter how high I set it it does not distort. Getting the microphone meter to read 0 on voice peaks has been very tricky for me. Anyway I'm picking up a Heil PR-20 this week so I'll see how it sounds with the Flex.

Hi Larry, I asked for this on 1/13/2006. The work-around I use is to mouse click on the signal, then Ctrl and the Up / Down Arrow keys to jump to the nearest. You can roll the mouse wheel or Ctrl Left / Right arrow to adjust the Tune Step. It does tie up two hands, though. Mike - AA8K

Everett, I have no direct experience with PCMCIA Firewire cards, but I do know that the FA-66 is a 1394a device and you need a 1394a adapter. Some adapters now are coming with both an A and B version ports on the same adapter. The physical port geometry is different for the different Firewire
