I have used both AMD Athlon 64 X2 and the Intel Core 2 Duo ships in the past few months. Both have their advantages and disadvantage. I found that the Athlon 64 chips seemed to have a bit of a problem with Windows and core context switching. Using a real OS (*nix) this issue was nonexistent.

Forgive me for being puzzled. I feed the sdr a signal at (according to sdr) 18.431992 KHz, level shows at -35, pre-amp on low, if at 15000. With receive image rejection phase/amplitude zeroed I have a nice fat -67 signal at 18.402992 (32db down ). There is a signal at 18.461992 about 70db down
