I've bought nothing but Asus motherboards for the last 15 years or so
and never had a problem. My most recent one is an A8N-E (for AMD
dual-core Socket 939), but they are no longer in production.
I know that some people dislike Asus because unless you are running

I have used both AMD Athlon 64 X2 and the Intel Core 2 Duo ships in the
past few months. Both have their advantages and disadvantage. I found
that the Athlon 64 chips seemed to have a bit of a problem with Windows
and core context switching. Using a real OS (*nix) this issue was
nonexistent.
I never got my AMD 2 core to work, it was a waste of money

My AMD 64x2 4600 runs good. I have not become aware of any problems (yet!)
The dual core DOES seem to keep things happy since there is one available
for sdr when some other program decides to do something stupid, like a spin
loop waiting for something to happen!

No, I
Forgive me for being puzzled. I feed the sdr a signal at (according to sdr)
18.431992 KHz, level shows at -35, pre-amp on low, if at 15000.
With receive image rejection phase/amplitude zeroed I have a nice fat -67
signal at 18.402992 (32db down ). There is a signal at 18.461992 about 70db
down

Dear FlexRadio customers,
For the past 5 months, we have been hard at work enhancing PowerSDR to be
compatible with the FLEX-5000. Today marks another milestone in that path
of progress as we release PowerSDR Beta v1.9.1. This version includes all
of the enhancements we have been working on in

I think I need a teeny tweak of some setting.
I'm noticeing a change in this version that cw signals seem to have a teen
lag in 'signal' 'no signal' audio.
What I mean, while receiving signal, the audio is at a certain level.
When the signal stops sending, it's quiet for a few
Try reducing the RF gain, to a value in the 70's range.
