Thanks for all the suggestions. I will be doing further tests as time goes
by.
The thing I miss most is the AirPort has an inbuilt print server which
works quite nicely with the rest of the Windoze computers in the shack.

Thank goodness for that. Else my SDR-1000 would have been toast long ago.
Seriously!!

It just occured to me that the way to do this is to condition the amp
ALC and sum it with the analog voltage that comes out of the SWR
bridge. The SDR will then fold back with either high SWR or high ALC.
I believe the ALC voltage out of most amps is negative, so it would take
an op amp to

The ultimate solution will probably be software, of course,
integrated within PowerSDR. But that will probably not be operational
any time soon.
Knowing now that the rig will protect itself, a stop-gap solution
that can be provided immediately by the user would be to use the
panic ALC voltage
I'm in the process of switching from the M-Audio Delta 44 to an Eridol FA-66
because I would like to use the Panadaptor at 192k bandwidth. Is there any
recommended procedure for switching between the two?
I was actually hoping to leave the Delta 44 in the computer until I was
totally satisfied
Tom,
Actually, it could be done with a single op-amp. Feed one signal into the
- input of the op-amp feed the other signal into the + input you
have a subtraction circuit instead of an addition circuit. Feed the ALC
signal through a series resistor to the - input and connect another
resistor

Dudly,
I tried another port and reinstalled the driver and no help. The
Device manager under USB controllers, has a Cypress-USB FX(2235),
which is what comes up when you plug and unplug the USB connector,
and it shows ok. PowerSDR still says USB Device not found (-4). I
downloaded the file
Tim,
Good call. I reinstalled and all is well with VAC. I am,
however, having a problem getting MixW to work. I've followed the
instructions from the KB, and everything appears to be set up right. It
appears that the audio thru the VAC for receive is pulsing in short
burts spaced about
Ray,
You are exactly right. With 2 op amps in an 8-pin dip and 4 in a 14-pin
dip, I have gotten lazy :)

Or, with a single transistor and some resistors, probably...
Lots of potential solutions.
BTW, I don't know that the reflected power signal from
