I do not have an SDR-1000 (yet) but use my Delta 44 with MixW and a Ten
Tec Pegasus with no problem on INS and OUTS 1 & 2. In fact, I use
inputs and outputs 3 & 4 separately (by loading an alternate patch bay
scheme into the M-Audio Control Panel) when I employ the computer in my
audio product
Here's the perfect outboard companion for your SDR-1000 (or any other
rig,with a computer interface, for that matter).

I suggest that you buy some good quality microphone cable and Neutrik
connectors and make your own cables. That way they will be of
excellent quality and just the length you need them. Neutrik brand
connectors can purhased from Mouser (www.mouser.com). Bob Heil

Has anyone "transitioned" from a Ten Tec Pegasus to a FlexRadio? If so,
what are your comparative impressions, please?

I would buy a nice case with efficent cooling system, the heaviest power
supply you can get, a mouse and a keyboard. As Ross intimates, all else
is subject to nearly instant obsolesence.

As I just ,entioned to Eric in a separate email, my Mia Midi card works
perfectly with the SDR-100 software -- at least in the "Test Drive"
simulated reception mode.

however, if my existing Mia Midi sound card (audio interface) will
