I found while playing in the CW contest today using n1mm that if I could
somehow control the vfo while the powersdr software didn't have focus...then
this would be a fantastic contesting rig.
I have a shuttle pro and it works great...however, once focus is gone...no
vfo control unless I performed

I have mixw and mmtty working fb now. However, time to send the Orion II in
so I thought I would get setup for the upcoming CW contest.
my virtual comm ports are radio 5-6
VAC 7-8
I have the rig control working but keep getting errors when trying to tx cw.
Says I need to setup the port.

I am up to date with tortoise running the latest svn. When I turn the power
on within the software nothing happens other than my s-meter jumps to 20
over and stays there. No receive at all. Any suggestions?

I was experiencing some pretty significant timing issues with CW. It was
suggested that a I reboot the system and the cause of getting the timer out
of synch hadn't been pinpointed yet. Well here is what I discovered. I hope
it helps others out there and yes…it fixed my issues.

It sounds fine. You are looking at this box as though it is your typical
sound card and it isn't. I too got fooled by seeing no mixer settings for
the playback on the firebox. Trust me, all is probably ok. Once you install
the sdr software, it talks directly to the firebox mixer and doesn't n
running xp pro sp2. all my devices are self powered so no option here and
yet I have the same issue as well.

yep...I expect it is mem management or IRQ issues at this point on my end.
Flex sent me another usb cable and the problem persisted.
On the download section I think there is a utility to help diagnose this
issue but I haven't had time to try it out yet.

so will this be the same case on an amd 64 dual core 3800+ with 2 gb of mem

How are you guys configuring the delta 44 to work with mixw? I spent all
weekend going nuts installing an m-audio ap192. What I found is that the
inputs don;t show up in the mixer panel under the windows sound card.
