vCOM is a virtual Com port, like your RS-232
port. You can use it to have PowerSDR communicate
with another application, like Ham Radio Deluxe,
without adding hardware Com ports and making
jumper cables to go between the Com ports; each
application wants its own, dedicated Com port.

Wow, thanks Tim, what a great utility.
MemTest86 is just what I look for in a
memory tester. And the price is right.
I've run it for 24 hours with zero errors
found. I'll give it another day of testing.
I did some temperature measurements.
After two hours of idle:

it with an extra chassis fan.
I would have noticed a dip in AC line voltage.
I guess that I'll put the original power
supply back in it.
I've had it running a couple of hours so far
today without anything but AVG running.

I've heard that the new version will separate

I'm guessing that memories will be in a user

When I bought my SDR-1000 in 2005, I was going to
buy the knob later, because I though it would be
awkward without a knob. Now I find my other radios
with knobs to be tedious to tune. Flex-Radio has

Up here I listen to AMers on the DX-60 net (3.88).
It's not unusual to hear good audio on rigs and
