Hi Tony I agree. I am aware of the excellent cw that can be had with an external keyer. However the intent was to have an all in 1 cw box without a bunch of stuff tethered to it other than antenna and paddle. Still not there yet but as I mentioned it is now usable with the paddle which it was not

The CWX utility keys the radio like a common morse key, not dot and dash side, just an on/off key. When you use the paddles you must use the built in iambic keyer. If you have to reverse the paddles and don't want to do that reverse the dot and dash wiring on your paddles. 73s, Jim W4ATK On
