I rather have a hardware switch that takes the radio out of a hibernate mode that runs the OCXO and that sort of thing. I don't want a hacker, or other malevolent force to be able to mess with the radio. Wasn't there an FCC regulation that was supposed to limit access to the equipment? In the

I did go into my sdr1000 and add a relay that switches the Main Power to the PA and Auto Tuner on when using the power sdr standby button. I do use the original power button to power up the stack assembly to standby. I installed an led that lets you know when main power is on. I just did this in
