Carb heat on non-fuel injected engines helps keep the venturi from being
plugged up by ice. This can happen with air temps as high as 100F and
relative humidity of +50%. This normally happens when you are about to land
or make a long decent. When you bring the RPM's out of the green arc on a

the process of explanation. I don't mean to offend but I need to be

There
is one old program called Digital DATCOM, but it is hard to come by, and it is
not easy to define an aircraft for this software. However, you can find
equations to estimate the aero coefficients in many aero books. Also, if you go

Do you use any program to calculate the
coefficients of rolling, pitching, yawing moments and the drag, lift and
sideforce coefficients. The conf file of Cessna seemed so complete containing
all of those coefficients. I am trying to change the aircraft

Hi,
I'm working on ILS indicator and I'm mising some property which could tell me
if glide slope transmitter is in-range or something similar. Is there some
property hidden? I also want to ask what it mean needle-deflection and how is
it scaled. (ie. does it mean that when vor-needle-deflection

FlightGear web server down to add some more HD space. This is to
facilitate future world scenery building efforts ... all my drives are
running at about 90% capacity. This
