Hello everybody,
I was experimenting a bit with the Crop Effects texture and added a
little bumpmap effect to it.

Very good!!
Is it possible to modify default shaders so they will look for normal map file?

In theory, it's possible to do this with effects. I believe that you can do it
with shaders today; doing bump maps using only the fixed function

Thanks to the help of Tim I am now really close to properly aligned,

Now for the bad part, except for Tower View and Fly-By View the
orientation (and relative position) seem to have no effect?
At least I've found the reason for this; I

Hello all. I've encountered some very strange artifacts in the hi-res scenery
build I'm doing of Newfoundland. I've experimented a bunch, but can't find one
single thing that's causing them. It just seems as though scenery of a very
high complexity causes them to happen. The main one is a sort

This is a well-known effect. Yet, this issue is still awaiting being
dealt with since those very few people who are working on improving
TerraGear are quite busy these days and they also have more pressing
issues to solve on

Maybe you are calculating the velocity as m/frame instead of m/s?
Or you transformed the m/frame
