I'm currently underway with the MD902
Explorer which uses no tail rotar, but instead uses low
pressure air directed through the noozzle at the rear of
thhe tail boom.
That's only one part of the NOTAR-system.
The other is the special tail boom, which uses the Coanda-effect:
