The Android stuff doesn't need patches in the FGFS source code, but
does affect the aircraft files (obviously) as well as SimGear and OSG.
Please check with me before building in case the associated patches
haven't been integrated into upstream yet.

Thanks Vivian and Heiko
I will have a look at my ac files.

I want to make a 2.1 FG release, at the end of this month, or the very start of
June.
As far as I can see, the current code is pretty good - many bugs have been
fixed since 2.0, and while I'm sure some new ones have crept in, I don't have
many code quality concerns - if we were to cut tarballs

Innis,
Yes and yes: it's caused by the updated default value for ambient light
level. Some AI models have not been updated. Neither have some of the main
models either btw.

Hi,
FGFS makes now use of the ambient color set in the .ac-file. Mostly the default
settings are 0.5 0.5 0.5, so it makes it appear dark.
Just change the Ambient settings to 1.0 1.0 1.0 in the .ac-file. It can be done
per editor, somewhere is even a script laying around to do this.

Hi All
I tried to post yesterday with a picture but the post was knocked
back for being to big.
So here goes in words.
I have noticed in FG2.0 that some of the AI models have very dark
shading while other models seem normal.
Has anyone else noticed this and or know what the problem might
be.
