Dear Mac users / developers
First, I've heard some users complaining "2.6 for Mac doesn't work," in
facebook, or via email without detail info.
Could you help me collect what is the cause of this issue?
I want to know the following things for reproducing the problem:
- Mac model and OS version

Just send the announcement (Curt will put it online when the major issues with
Mac
packages are fixed, which they currently are AFAIK) to as many sites/magazins
as yo

I'll take care of updating Freecode alias Freshmeat,

Hi All,
I have been gone for almost a year. I want to start new source trees
for simgear and flightgear and track on going development. Which git
branches should I "check out" in this new set of directories? And from
the e-mails I have read from the developers list, is appears that fgdata

Hi everybody,
just in case you havn't yet noticed yet: our release 2.6.0 is out!
This is our second scheduled release following our published
http://wiki.flightgear.org/Release_plan and we did it in time.
Thanks everybody for your support, for your contributions and for your
patience during this

A merge request on Gitorious would be preferred (which requires setting
up a personal clone), but in case of doubt I'd load this into GIT for
you.
Cheers,
Martin.

Hello,
the exclusive hang-glider in fg, AirwaveXtreme150, is in a poor condition.
After the switch from plib to osg the model becomes "invisible".
I am afraid that this hang-glider is going to die in the future. This would be
a pity because the fdm is very special, unique AND quite realistic!

Browser (Firefox is my default) opens fine here, with the plain preferences.xml
from Git.

Hi Yves,
Though I haven't check the source code deeply, fgfs doesn't seem handling
--browser-app command-line option properly.
According to the code, its default value for OS X is set to "open, " and
command-line option seems to be set properly.
So I guess the property node ("/sim/startup/brows
Hi Tat
I downloaded 10.6/7 version and it works fine. Just one small thing I
noted (because I am on this myself at the moment for FGx): GUI->Help
(opens in Browser) doesn’t open anything here. But maybe this is not OSX
only?
Cheers, Yves

Yup, LaTeX sources are in the "getstart" repository - and have been
there most of the time:

Hi Docs
Is the .tex source file(s) as base for the getstart.pdf in our source
somewhere? Could not find it in fgdata/Docs, only the map.tex. Beside
the online help I am trying to create a new (user) helpbrowser for the
FGx launcher and need the .tex file.
Thanks a lot, Yves

Ah, I thought that that was a different bug: I.e. a specifc error in the model
path of one of our more recent commits. But, yeah the original committer does
mention that no traffic

Hi Guys,
I just discovered that some bad has happened to the AI models rendering code:
No AI model is rendered anymore, except the MD11 (which technically isn't an AI
model, but just a reused version of the regular Aircraft version. This is with
yesterday's FlightGear/SimGear/fgdata, git check
