Ye, I also started with SLAX and then SliTaz, I find SliTaz easier to
work with (more up to date).
My current liveCD effort is based on latest Ubuntu just because it is
easier to get a ISO out using Remastersys.
The final version will hopefully use SliTaz (so it wil fit on a CD).

I am using SLAX, and find that somebody in SLAX forum has been doing
such work on SLAX, making Flightgear a Live system base on SLAX, but I
did not found that he has upload it to the internet, a pitty, may be
he just use it for himself

Does FlightGear offer an upload site? Have you tried the website where

I'm definitely interested. Some time ago I used that old CD to
determine whether my old desktop could handle FG, before I put in all
the time building it. Now I would like to do the same thing on my newer
desktop.
